John Kominek

For the next little while I've adopted the role of research programmer. I'm engaged in developing a new (modular and extensible) image processing application. In the works is a fractal image compression software toolkit for researchers and experimenters. I've also promised some people a great book on the subject, but those are rumors, just rumors.

Maintaining the Waterloo BragZone and Fractal Repository is one my tasks, a task that I have undertaken just to prove that things important and valuable can still be accomplished with much labor and little brains.

I enjoy discussing ideas and things much more than people, especially discussions about me. But, if you've met Tigger then much of my personality you already know.
